An animatronic's name has to sound friendly enough for a children's party and wrong enough at three in the morning. This animatronic name generator makes alliterative mascots, band line-ups, broken-down versions and the pizzerias they play in, for Five Nights at Freddy's-style OCs and horror games.
Animatronics, from Disney to the pizzeria
Animatronics were made famous by Disney, whose Audio-Animatronics first sang in the Enchanted Tiki Room in 1963.
- The pizzeria band: in 1977 Atari's founder Nolan Bushnell opened the first Chuck E. Cheese, with a stage of animatronic animals, and ShowBiz Pizza's Rock-afire Explosion followed in 1980.
- Five Nights at Freddy's (2014), Scott Cawthon's horror game, turned those friendly mascots into something to fear at night, and it's why so many people now make their own animatronic characters.
This generator isn't official and has no link to FNAF. It makes original characters, and leaves out every FNAF name, along with Poppy Playtime, Bendy and the real pizzeria bands.
Naming an original animatronic
- Mascots get an alliterative name and an animal: Biscuit the Badger, Lucky the Lobster.
- Band members get an instrument, because every pizzeria needs a stage.
- Broken-down versions are what's left in the back room: Rusted Biscuit, Faceless Bella.
- Venues are named after their star: Rocky Rooster's Playland, Benny Bunny's Burger Barn.
- Keep it original: avoid FNAF's own prefixes, like Withered, Toy and Nightmare, so your character is clearly yours.
