All eight came from the generator:
- Rinse & Shine: a rhyme on rise and shine that sounds like the job.
- Bye Bye Grime: cheerful, and it promises the before-and-after people pay for.
- Moss & Found Jet Washing: a pun on lost and found, and moss is half the work on a British driveway.
- Muck & Magic Power Washing: alliteration that says dirty to clean in three words.
- Westgate Patio & Driveway Cleaning: says exactly what you clean, which is what customers search.
- Clearstone Soft Wash Solutions: for a firm that soft-washes roofs and render.
- Torrent Exterior Cleaning: short and modern, with a word for rushing water.
- Hampton Moss Removal: the town and the service. Put your own town in the box.
Jet washing, power washing or soft washing?
In the UK most customers say jet washing; in the US it's power washing or pressure washing. Put the words your customers use in the name or slogan.
- Pressure washing blasts dirt off hard surfaces like driveways and patios.
- Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution for roofs, render and cladding, which high pressure can damage. If you offer it, say so: it's a separate search.
- Exterior cleaning covers the lot, including gutters and windows, and leaves room to grow.
- Watch the run-off. Dirty wash water shouldn't go into surface-water drains, which in the UK usually carry rainwater straight to streams and rivers.
Check it's free before you print the sign
A pressure washing name goes on a van, leaflets and a lot of before-and-after photos, so it's worth a few minutes' checking before anything is printed:
- Press Check on any name above. The Business Name Checker looks up the domain, links to the company register (Companies House in the UK) and opens the trade mark search and social handles.
- Search where you'll trade. Look the name up on maps, marketplaces and social media. Two businesses with the same name confuse customers and reviews.
- Think about what you'll add later: Exterior Cleaning covers gutters and roofs, Driveway Cleaning doesn't.

Making the most of it
- Before-and-after photos sell the job. A name that's short enough to watermark on a photo gets seen every time one is shared.
- Choose Name with a slogan for lines like The grime stops here.
