A good sticker shop name is short enough for a backing card, playful, and says what you sell: a pun on stick and peel, a cute animal, or your own name if you're the artist. Selling stickers on Etsy, at craft fairs or from your own stationery shop? This sticker business name generator gives you names in eight styles, from puns to proper stationers, and you can check each one is free before you print your first sheet.
Eight good sticker business names
All eight came from the generator:
- Peel the Love: a warm pun on peeling a sticker.
- Stuck on Axolotls: a pun that also tells people your theme.
- Teeny Penguin Sticker Co.: a cute animal plus Sticker Co.: clear and friendly.
- Feral Llama Sticker Co.: funny, for chaotic designs.
- Mochi & Moon Stickers: soft and aesthetic, for planner stickers.
- Mirror Foil Sticker Works: modern, and names a finish people search for.
- The Pencil Pot Stationers: a classic stationer's name if you sell more than stickers.
- Sarah Made a Sticker: your own name, for an artist-led shop.
How sticker shop names work
Sticker shops sell mostly online and at fairs, so the name has to work as a handle and on a small banner.
- Puns on stick, peel and vinyl are the classic choice.
- Finish words help people find you: holo, foil, matte, glossy, washi (decorative Japanese paper tape).
- Kiss-cut and die-cut are worth knowing: kiss-cut stickers are cut through the sticker but not the backing, so several sit on one sheet; die-cut stickers are cut right through to their shape.
- Your theme in the name (frogs, plants, cats) brings in people looking for exactly that.
Check it's free before you print the sign
Before you pay for a logo, labels or a stall banner, press Check on the name you like, or paste it into the Business Name Checker. It looks for:
- Company names: in the UK, Companies House won't register a limited company name that's the same as one already on the register. In the US, check your state's business register.
- Trade marks: search the UK Intellectual Property Office and, if you sell abroad, the USPTO. A registered company name doesn't give you trade mark rights.
- Web and social: the .com or .co.uk, plus the Instagram, TikTok and Etsy handles sticker customers will look for.
Most important of all: never base a sticker shop, or its stickers, on other people's characters, logos or fan art. Marketplaces remove listings that use them, and the owners can take action against you. Original designs are the whole point.
This is general guidance, not legal advice. For the full checklist, read Business Naming Best Practices.
Tips for a sticker shop
- Keep it under 20 characters if you'll sell on Etsy, which limits shop names to 20 characters with no spaces.
- Leave room for stationery. Many sticker shops add washi, notebooks and prints later.
- Match the name to your style of drawing, cute, funny or minimal.
