Good brow business names are short, neat and a little playful, and many use the shape of the brow itself: Soft Arch Threading Studio, Perfect Frame Brows, Brows Up. The Brow Business Name Generator suggests names for a brow bar, eyebrow studio, brow tech, lamination or threading business, and brow and lash studios: catchy, cute, modern, luxury, aesthetic, your town or your own name.
Eight good brow business names
All eight came from the generator:
- Brows Up: short, upbeat and easy to fit on a sign.
- Tint & Tweeze: two treatments in three words, with a bit of alliteration.
- Perfect Frame Brows: brows frame the face, so the name says why they matter.
- Les Beaux Sourcils: French for "the beautiful eyebrows", for a luxury studio.
- Taupe Threading Lounge: taupe is a classic brow-pencil shade.
- Little Hummingbird Brow & Lash Bar: cute, light and clear about both services.
- Juniper & Fig Brow Bar: an aesthetic, Instagram-friendly pairing.
- Henna Brow & Threading Studio: names the treatments clients search for.
Brows, lashes or threading?
Choose what you offer, and the names follow:
- Brows covers shaping, waxing, tinting, lamination and henna brows. Words like arch, frame, shape and lift work here.
- Brows and lashes adds "Brow & Lash" to the name, so clients see both at a glance.
- Threading uses a twisted cotton thread to remove hair in lines. It's a traditional technique in South Asia and the Middle East, and many threading bars name themselves for speed and precision.
The ending matters too. A Bar sounds quick and walk-in; a Studio, Room or Atelier sounds like an appointment for something longer, such as lamination.
Check it's free before you print the sign
A name only works if nobody else nearby has it. Before you order the sign, the cards or the van wrap, press Check on any name, or use the Business Name Checker:
- Domain and handles. Most clients will find you on Instagram or Google first, so get the .co.uk or .com and the same handle everywhere if you can.
- The company register. In the UK, a limited company name can't be the same as one already on Companies House. In the US, search your state's business register.
- Trade marks. Search the UK IPO or USPTO register for anything in your field, as a registered mark can stop you using a name even if the company register allowed it.
- Your area. Search Google Maps for brow bars and threading near you. A similar name a few streets away will confuse clients and reviews.
This is general guidance, not legal advice. For the full process, read Business Naming Best Practices.
Making it yours
- Keep it short for Instagram, where most brow clients find you. Your handle should match the name.
- Avoid pinning yourself to one trend. "Lami" and "henna" names are great now; if trends change, a general name lasts longer.
- Add your town if you rely on walk-ins: Hampton Threading Bar is exactly what people search for.
