Good massage business names sound calm and professional, say what kind of massage you offer, and can't be misread. The Massage Business Name Generator suggests names for a massage therapy practice, sports massage clinic or mobile massage therapist: catchy, classic and professional, modern, sports and remedial, holistic, your town or your own name.
Eight good massage business names
All eight came from the generator:
- Dunmore Remedial Massage: a surname and "remedial" sounds clinical and trusted.
- Castle Street Massage Therapists: a street name and a clear job title.
- Grounded Sports Massage: modern, and says who it's for.
- Comeback Sports Massage: speaks straight to injured athletes.
- Full Range Performance Massage: a sports name that sounds like results.
- Still Point Holistic Therapies: a calm holistic name.
- Aches Away Massage: a gentle, catchy promise.
- Unknotted Massage Therapy: a light pun that stays professional.
How massage business names work
- Say the kind of massage. Clients search for sports, deep tissue, remedial or pregnancy massage, so put the one you specialise in into the name: Comeback Sports Massage.
- Clinical words build trust. Therapy, therapist, clinic and practice tell people this is a professional treatment: Corbett Massage Clinic.
- Holistic names suit reflexology, reiki and relaxation massage: Fieldstone Massage & Reiki.
- Keep puns gentle. Anything that could be read as a different kind of business will put off the clients you want.
Rules on titles differ by country. In the US, many states license massage therapists and control who can advertise massage or use the title "massage therapist", and some ask for a licence number in adverts. Check your state board before you choose a name.
Check it's free before you print the sign
Press Check on any name, or paste one into the Business Name Checker, to see whether the domain and social handles are free and to jump to the company register and trade mark searches. Then:
- Search the company register. In the UK that's Companies House; in the US, your state's business register.
- Search trade marks with the UK Intellectual Property Office or the USPTO, especially if you'll sell products or open more than one site.
- Look locally. Search Google Maps for massage therapists near you: a similar name a few streets away will confuse customers even if it's legally fine.

Mobile and home-based therapists
If you visit clients, "mobile" in the name saves explaining it every time: Sarah Mobile Massage. If you work from a garden room or studio, the name of the room can become the brand, as in The Fern Treatment Room.
